Holiday Inn Express

HIEX wanted to explore the possibility of using promotional items to increase their brand awareness locally and to also promote their conference facilities.

Incorporating the fact that they’re an ‘Express’ Holiday Inn and of course that they’re in the travel industry, we proposed thermal travel mugs. Not only could they be used as giveaways at networking events to promote the business and conference services, but they could also be used within the hotel.

The hotel was also keen to promote their ‘express’ breakfast and coffee area to non-residents of the hotel. We suggested they used the travel mugs as an incentive; buy a coffee and receive a free travel mug, along with cheaper refills on future purchases upon presentation of the mug.

The mugs were well received and tweets on social media showing happy customers collecting their free mugs swiftly followed, creating quite the demand.
